Light General Household Waste Skip Bin Guidelines
The following items are acceptable for disposal in our skip bins: white goods, timber, metal, clothing, toys, general household waste, electrical appliances, and green waste. Seasonal Home Cleanout, Appliances, Home Furnishings, Wood Scraps, Scrap Metals, Synthetic Materials, Wearables, Children's Playthings, Floor Coverings, Yard Debris, Shed Cleanouts , Deceased Cleanouts, White goods, Furniture, Plastics, Clothes, Toys
The following items are NOT acceptable for disposal in our skip bins: food, liquids, paint, contaminants, toxic waste, asbestos, cement, masonry, dirt, concrete, brick or pavers chemicals, oils, flammables, explosives, animal or human waste, soiled nappies, or putrescible waste.
Please be advised that all waste, including mattresses, must be placed below the rim of the skip bin and remain within the edges of the skip bin. Any offending items will be removed.
A fee of $85 per item will be charged for the disposal of mattresses, gas bottles, and car tires.
Any skip bin that exceeds these limits will be required to pay an additional $35 per 100kg
If the skip bin is found to be overfilled, a failed collection fee will be added. The Skip Bin will remain on the site until further arrangements are made. They may include the purchase and delivery of additional skip bins or the removal of excess materials until the fill limit is met. The total MAX allowable weight limit per bin is 1000KG before a consecutive bin must be hired and filled by the hirer.
